There are Full Moons that primarily amplify our emotions. And there are Full Moons that reveal something we didn't even know still lived within us. This one belongs to the second type.

When the Moon reaches its fullness at 6° Aquarius, it does not stand alone: Pluto, the lord of the underworld, rests right beside it, and together they lift what you had carefully pushed beneath the threshold of your consciousness.

Directly opposite them burns the Sun, taken into the heart by Jupiter, at 6° Leo. The throne against the people, the sovereign against the community, the hunger to rule against the old law that places no one above another.

The return of the banished part within ourselves

In Greek mythology, Pluto, or Hades, is not the embodiment of evil, but the guardian of the underworld. It is the place where nothing is truly lost. Everything that was once buried continues to exist until the time is ripe to come to light again.

Pluto guards what you once were not allowed to be.

What surfaces these days is therefore rarely new.

It may feel unexpected, but in reality, it is something you have always known deep down. The underworld gives nothing back that was not present within you all along. It simply waits until you have become strong enough to face it again.

It is material that you tucked away long ago to remain loved, to be allowed to belong:

• the anger that was found to be too heated;

• the desire that took up too much space;

• the untamed and instinctive side that was not welcome at the dinner table of your youth.

Those banished parts are now knocking at the gate and demanding their place back, and they do so with the inexorability of fate.

What you sent away to survive returns as soon as you are strong enough to carry it.

The revelation can therefore feel very familiar, even though it may be delivered quite bluntly and directly by something or someone you hadn't quite expected.

Aquarius, the sign in which Pluto is located, heads straight for the truth and really doesn't ask permission for it.

Just like the child who pointed at the naked emperor and simply said that it was a naked man with a big belly, without realizing that it was the emperor, Aquarius goes for the same unvarnished truth.

Count on the frustration from the (nonsense) you have been swallowing at that table for years coming out sooner these days than on other days.

Leo and Aquarius: two fundamental principles

Leo and Aquarius represent two principles upon which both a society and a personality rest.

Lion asks that a person dare to take his own place, that he exists as someone.

Aquarius reminds us that no position elevates one above the community. As soon as one gains the upper hand, imbalance arises.

A person without a Lion disappears in the group and loses his face.

A person without Aquarius loses sight of others and starts prioritizing their own interests over the whole.
